We love Hotel Bohinj for its experiences that can be merged with its beautiful natural setting. For instance, you can enjoy the fresh alpine air whilst enjoying a breakfast to order before venturing on a rigorous hike. After your morning exercise, why not have a relaxing massage and spa day, starting with a floating meal in the heated outdoor whirlpool, from where you can catch glimpses of Triglav National Park.

The salt wall is part of Slovenian tradition, for when people were hiking in the mountains. In short, the experience is described as; “Alpine-style Luxury which provides a unique experience”.

Upon our arrival we were given special slippers – made out of felt recycled from discarded plastic bottles. We then enjoyed an excellent buffet breakfast, enriched with local specialties from Bohinj, is also included and is a must…maybe book your stay with an early check-in in mind?!
