Dunalastair Hotel can be found within the striking Highlands of Kinloch Rannoch, Perthshire. The Hotel and its Suites have all recently undergone an extensive refurbishment, making its accommodations truly luxurious! Dunalastair Hotel was converted into a Victorian Highland Sporting Lodge, which has seen its 2014 renovation pave the way for multiple awards including Best Hotel Breakfast and Best Couples Experience (Prestige Hotel Awards 2020).
Guests have a varied choice of rooms, some of which have King-size beds, others can accommodate up to five guests (Family Suite) and a select few have unparalleled Mountain views. What we truly love about Dunalastair is its location!
Loch Rannoch is surrounded by Caledonian Forestry and scintillating Lochs, meaning we encourage guests to get out as much as possible and enjoy the hiking, bike rides, horse riding, stalking and fishing - the Hotel staff are on hand to assist.
The Loch, or the Road to the Isles, is over 10 miles in length from Kinloch Rannoch to Bridge of Gaur. Famous hikes and walks can be enjoyed in this area, so take on the Clan Trail to see if you’re as hardy as the Scots! If you prefer to be on the road, there is a 22 mile route that is highly regarded by cyclists, so there are no excuses to laze around.
