Adaaran Select Meedhupparu is part of the Adaaran Resorts family, who are owned by the Aitken Spence Group. Their sustainability program acts to minimise the environmental impact that the resort has on the planet and their social framework & vision is based on a stewardship structure – commitment to making a difference in the communities where guests, associates and stakeholders live and work. Some of the schemes include ‘Empowering Maldivian Youth’ (eight sessions of awareness and training development programs for students & youths), ‘International Women’s Day’ (a celebration of in-house guests, female associates and Meedhoo School members) and ‘Staff Health & Wellbeing’ (Medical Camp for ASM staff conducted in affiliation with Meedhoo Hospital).

Adaaran Select Meedhupparu can be located in the Raa Atoll, in the middle of the Indian Ocean. Being southwest of Sri Lanka and India, the Maldives consist of 1,192 coral islands that form an Archipelago of 26 Atolls. The Maldives (Republic of Maldives) is renowned for its fantastic glistening beaches and high-end resorts that offer luxurious villas, built on stilts in the water. Lovers of these islands tend to be those who have an affinity with the water, so expect to see many scuba diving & snorkelling and water sports enthusiasts. Take an adventure into the ocean and you may catch glimpses of astounding fish, coral reef, manta rays, turtles, sharks and the famous & illusive whale shark.

Adaaran Select Meedhupparu is around 136 km to the north of the capital of the Maldives, Male. A seaplane journey will cover this distance in just 45 minutes! Guests must therefore fly to Velana International Airport, where an Adaaran Select will team member will be waiting and ready to assist. Be prepared as you are whisked out of the airport to the Trans Maldivian Airways (TMA) Terminal where a Seaplane Transfer will transport you to the Resort haven!
