Yaiza, Playa Blanca, Lanzarote |

|
| This
splendid new hotel opened in 2002 takes it's name from the district
and very attractive small town a few kms from Playa Blanca. It occupies
one of the best positions in Playa Blanca opposite the golden sandy
beach of Playa Dorada and within a 30 minute walking distance of
the unspoilt Playa Papagayo beach. The hotel is less than a kilometre
from the 'village' with it’s good selection of 'village' bars,
restaurants and shops.
The
design of the hotel is based upon a traditional Lanazarote village,
low rise, domed with arabesque towers the upper levels having wood
pergolas. The interior is gracefully arched with decorated stone
and plaster work. There are cool marble floors, extensive use of
teak in the stairs, balconies, banisters and decorated fitments.
To add harmony the designers have made an inner garden with tropical
palms and ferns. There are comfortable colonial style sofas to add
that 'tropical' look. |
